Costa Rica has had a special place in our hearts for many years. The people, the culture, and the ministry needs have always connected deeply with us. Because of that connection, we have spent over 14 years building strong relationships, coming alongside a local church, and bringing mission teams to meet the needs of others. As a family, we truly have tried to live out the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are grateful that in this season of life and ministry, we can serve missionaly both overseas and in the States.
WHO
We are serving alongside Miguel and Karina Rojas as they lead Iglesia de La Ciudad and For The City Ministries. We have known Miguel and Karina for over 13 years as we have had the opportunity to serve together and to do life together. It’s easy to say that our families deeply care for one another beyond ministry.
We are also in relationship and have accountability through the Landmark Association of Churches. Landmark is a group of like-minded, Christ-centered churches that we have been serving together with for several years as we have planted and led at Turning Point Church.
Currently, our family is serving primarily in two ways. One, by coming alongside the mission already taking place with Iglesia de La Ciudad. We will be involved in feeding those who are hungry, caring for families, mentoring leaders, serving those in the streets, and living out the gospel in local barrios.
Secondly, we are also heavily involved in leading the mission team experience. Part of what we have felt called to do is help connect relationships, churches, and resources that we have in the States with the relationships and the mission that is taking place in Costa Rica. We will provide leadership to the strategies and overall mission as churches, leaders, and teams come to serve in Costa Rica. We have already many teams serving this year and if you are interested in bringing a team, please contact us.
